The goal of the workshop is to provide an opportunity for public health laboratorians to network with each other and with CDC National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases staff and to discuss technical aspects of respiratory virus testing. The workshop will include presentations and discussions on topics such as national influenza and SARS-CoV-2 surveillance, surveillance data usage, strengthening respiratory surveillance networks, influenza genomics and diagnostics and CDC updates.
It will take place at the Baird Center the day before APHL 2024 Annual Conference. Invitations were sent out to eligible PHL Directors to nominate an attendee from their laboratory. Please contact Melissa Warren at melissa.warren@aphl.org to register.
