TRUENAT MTB AND MTB/RIF EXTERNAL QUALITY ASSESSMENT (EQA) INFORMATION SHARING

The USAID-funded Infectious Disease Detection and Surveillance (IDDS) project has supported nine countries with at least one year of external quality assessment (EQA) for Truenat, in collaboration with SmartSpot Quality from South Africa. This effort is a part of the introducing New Tools Project, which is a collaboration between USAID and the Stop TB Partnership. As of 2023, supported countries had
completed all three cycles of EQA. This webinar will summarize the results of this program, create a platform for countries to share their experiences in EQA implementation, and share insights and best practices gleaned through the implementation of EQA for countries seeking to introduce similar programs.
