At APHL, we've often talked about the longtime need and newfound opportunity to have a spotlight on informatics. We have a chance to share some of this critical informatics work from the PHL perspective on the ONC public health data systems task force meeting this coming Friday, 9/16 from 10:30am-12:00pm Eastern.
We are looking for one public health laboratory representative to join APHL's Riki Merrick on a panel to provide specific viewpoints on the current ONC public health (f) criteria, specifically transmission to public health agencies-reportable laboratory tests values/results. This would be a short presentation/discussion-approximately five minutes, but having a PHL person represented here would be invaluable.
