Hi everyone,
We wanted to spread the word about an opportunity that CDC recently shared. The Data Modernization Initiative team at CDC is looking for help in defining and prioritizing future building blocks for DMI and is actively seeking focus group participants across organizations as they move to a topic-centered approach.
In the upcoming quarter they will be focusing on:
- HIV
- Listeria
- Legionnaire's Disease
- Childhood Lead Poisoning
They will be setting up 60-minute discussions with individual labs (ideally with 6 – 10 lab staff participating from each laboratory) to reflect on organizational processes, pain points, and challenges.
Specifically, they need to hear from individuals within the lab who:
- Directly support tasks related to data ingestion and standardization, including location mapping, record linkage services, data exchange
- Actively perform data analysis using R, Python, SQL, SAS, Tableau, PowerBI, Excel or other data analysis tools
If your laboratory is interested in participating, please e-mail dmibuildingblocks@cdc.gov with your name, contact information, and specialization area. They will follow up directly with screening and scheduling.
The full flyer is attached for your review-please do share with any colleagues who may be interested.
Thanks so much.
Best,
Rachel
