    Hi everyone,

Just wanted to make sure you're aware of the opportunity to nominate your colleagues for APHL Awards! There are so many well-deserving informatics folks in this group doing amazing and innovative things. We hope to see some of you honored for the important work that you do!

Join us in recognizing those outstanding professionals who've made significant contributions to advancing public health laboratory science and practice by nominating your colleagues for one or more of APHL's Award categories. We are seeking nominations for nine award categories recognizing APHL members, non-members and government officials. Additionally, APHL member laboratories have the opportunity to assess their environmental impact and health and wellness programs by completing the Healthiest Laboratory Checklist; the highest scoring State and Local jurisdictional laboratories will each be awarded a $1,500.00 prize!

See our Award Nominations Portal for detailed nomination rules and instructions, nominee and nominator eligibility requirements, access to nomination forms and lists of past award winners. Nomination forms and Healthiest Laboratory Assessments must be completed and submitted by Monday, February 12. Award winners will be announced at the Awards Breakfast during the APHL 2024 Annual Conference.

Questions should be directed to membership@aphl.org or 240.485.2733.

Thank you for your participation and we look forward to recognizing the unsung heroes of public health!
